Born in the 1910s and 1920s, this generation lived through the Depression, fought in World War II, and created the “baby boom.”  This exhibit sets the scene and will transport you back in time to hang out at the soda fountain or in a 1950s kitchen. Discover how your grandparents, parents, and next-door neighbors changed America.

This internationally-renowned a cappella ensemble, has been a vital and innovative presence in the music culture of Washington, D.C., and in communities of conscience around the world. Founded by Bernice Johnson Reagon in 1973 at the D.C. Black Repertory Theater Company, Sweet Honey possesses a stunning vocal prowess that captures the complex sounds of Blues, spirituals, traditional gospel hymns, rap, reggae, African chants, Hip Hop, ancient lullabies, and jazz improvisation.

Running With Ed

Join the Park City Education Foundation for its second annual Running with Ed relay race. Teams of five run/walk 42 miles on Park City trails, visiting each of the School District’s public schools. Community party greet the runners at the finish line. Proceeds from the event benefit the schools.
